There just might be someone reading this web site and/or visiting this blog who wonders what are the most important qualifications when running for the elected office of judge?

Life experiences are crutical.  Knowing how the inside of a courtroom operates and understanding the rules of evidence help also.  But knowing the law, the operations of the courtroom pale in comparison to the life experiences one brings to the Bench.  It is importantthat our courts reflect racial and sexual diversity, for all of the obvious reasons, but cultural, economic and democraphic characteristics are important attributes that a person brings to the Bench, as well.
